Discover the charming city of Lisbon as it unveils its history and traditions. You will visit the Nations Park, Vasco de Gama Bridge, Lisbon Oceanarium, Ajuda's Palace and more.

Meeting Point: Your hotel in Lisbon

Itinerary

Lisbon is a city of history and modernity. And in this tour you will be able to observe this communion starting with the modern and imposing works of the Park of Nations until the Pombal period - their stories and 'jewels'.

Depart from your hotel towards the Nations Park (former industrial area converted during the World Expo 1998). Then you’ll observe the Vasco de Gama Bridge (current architectural work that is the longest bridge in Europe) and visit the Lisbon Oceanarium. If you want you can still visit the Pavilion of Knowledge.

Enjoy lunch at your leisure. Choose from the region's line up of chic and delectable restaurants where you can indulge in a typical Portuguese food.

After lunch, you will visit the Ajuda’s Palace. This monument was created following the earthquake of 1755 as required by King Joseph as a way to house the Royal family after the disaster. Today, this palace, in addition to being a former royal space, is a space used by various cultural organizations and museum of decorative arts. In this site, you can visit the royal apartments and the galas reception spaces.

You may also visit the Coaches Museum that has an extraordinary collection of royal coaches.

You will end with a visit to the Basilica da Estrela (a magnificent baroque icon) or, alternatively, take a tour of the National Museum of Ancient Art and the Gulbenkian Museum.
