Itinerary

Day 1, Mallorca
Check in at the Hotel St Regis Mardavall 5*. Optional: pick up from airport and transfer to the hotel.

Welcome drink with a short introduction of Palma de Mallorca, including a map of the city and a shopping guide. Welcome gift in the hotel room for each guest.

Take a seat at our luxurious tasting table in Mallorca, and prepare yourself for a sensory journey across the island. The Mallorcan wine-making tradition dates back to 121 B.C., and a push in the 1990s to improve techniques has resulted in some truly fascinating wines. In this tasting, our on-staff expert wine guide fills your glasses with the six most exciting wines from Mallorca’s still undiscovered wine scene.

You’ll sip on familiar but also new grapes, like Manto Negro and Callet, which produce complex and spicy wines. This relaxed yet informative tasting will satisfy the wine fan’s thirst for extensive
knowledge of contemporary island winemaking as well as the novice visitor interested in sampling the best the island has to offer. Our
sommelier will also pair the wines with bites of local, artisan products.

Includes: 6 wines, paired local artisan products, tasting notes, water

Day 2, Mallorca
The open-air rustic dining experience is an unforgettable journey straight to the real Mallorca. The experience is a journey by foot, through the magical woods and forest paths of Mallorca. The walk is moderate, although the incline keeps things interesting (and means you should wear comfortable, non-slip shoes). Pass lovely natural creeks and streams on the way, as you follow the pilgrimage walk through the Tramuntana mountains, a UNESCO heritage sight. When the land is wet, the mountain-source fresh waterfalls are perfect to stop and bathe in.

When the walk reaches a small stone hut built for olive harvesters, an olivar, guests will stop to enjoy an oven-roasted suckling pig on its garden terrace. Our friends use this place as their country base, where they store harvested olives and make sobrasada. Gaze out over the overlooking valley, down to the sea, and watch the host and your guide carve the tender, delicious pig up for a family style meal.

Includes: Guided mountain hike, aperitif in an ancient olive hut, lunch, wines, local culinary guide.

Day 3, Seville
Check in at the Hotel Alfonso XII 5*. Optional: pick up from airport and transfer to the hotel.

Welcome drink with a short introduction of Sevilla, including a map of the city and a shopping guide. Welcome gift in the hotel room for each guest.

The walls decked out with Semana Santa and Feria posters, crowded and noisy, a religious statue looking over as plate after plate emerges from the bar: garbanzos with spinach, chorizo, croquetas and you begin to lose count. Sevilla has one of the highest number of bars per person in the world. Knowing exactly where to go for the best, freshest, and most authentic tapas takes local, insider knowledge.

Knowing where to find the best tapas is an art, a mixture of luck and local know-how. Do a night of tapas in Sevilla like a local, led by our friendly and knowledgeable Andalucían guides.

Sun, siesta and sangria may be the typical Spanish cliche, but our tour goes beyond the typical. We dive straight into the culinary heart of Sevilla for an eating and drinking experience unlike any you’ve ever experienced. From extra-tender beef cheek to unassuming abacerías, their walls lined with conserves, the tapas tasting tour changes every day but always features a range of local favorites. Come thirsty, too, as we’ll be pairing each tapa with the perfect pour, from sherry to local whites and reds.

Includes: Up to 4 tapas bars, all food & wine, local culinary bilingual guide

Day 4, Seville
You have a free morning.

Take a seat at our luxurious tasting table, in the center of Sevilla, and prepare yourself for a sensory journey through Spain. In this tasting, our on-staff expert wine guide fills your glasses with the six most exciting wines, wines you won't find on the menus of the local bars, on the Spanish scene today.

This relaxed yet informative tasting will satisfy the wine fan’s thirst for extensive knowledge of contemporary Spanish winemaking as well as the novice visitor interested in sampling some delicious drinks, all without leaving Sevilla.

Includes: 6 different wines with different grapes and elaborations, wine tasting notes, water.

Day 5, San Sebastian
Check in at the Hotel Maria Cristina 5*. Optional: pick up from airport and transfer to the hotel.

Welcome drink with a short introduction of San Sebastian, including a map of the city and a shopping guide. Welcome gift in the hotel room for each guest, including an apron and an especial product from our gourmet shop.

Pintxos (Basque tapas) line every bar in San Sebastian’s famed Old Town, but knowing where to find the best ones is an art. While it’s hard to have a bad meal in town, knowing exactly where to go for the best, freshest, and most exciting pintxos takes local, insider knowledge. Do a night out in San Sebastian like a local, led by our friendly and knowledgeable Basque guides.

We dive straight into the culinary heart of the city for a night of eating and drinking unlike any you’ve ever experienced. From fresh prawns to line-caught baby squid to perfectly charred steak, the pintxo hunt changes nightly but always features a range of traditional spots and chic, avant-garde bars. Come thirsty, too, as we’ll be pairing each pintxo with the perfect pour, from cider to local whites and reds.

Includes: Up to 5-6 pintxo bars, all food & wine, local culinary bilingual guide.

Day 6, San Sebastian
Small bites pack a powerful punch when it comes to the pintxo, Basque Country's most famous culinary export.

At its most basic, a pintxo is a small bite—but with a world of knowledge, tricks and tips behind its preparation. From the simple gilda, the city’s emblematic pintxo, to the elaborate creations that inspired by avant-garde cuisine, the world of pintxos is demystified and made easy and fun in our cooking school. Learn the basics and beyond in The Essential Pintxo class.

Each pintxo cooking class ends with a delicious lunch and carefully chosen wine pairings. You will gather around our rustic wooden table to enjoy what you and your fellow classmates have cooked using your newly acquired knowledge.

Includes: Welcome drink, expert chef instruction, aperitif, 100% hands-on class, multi-course lunch comprised of the dishes made in class, a selection of Spanish wines, digestif, keepsake recipe booklet and pen, gift.
